In addition to our inspection and audit regimes, we undertake rigorous in-house health and safety training to improve the awareness and performance of our staff and operatives.
All Longcross site managers are required to attend a five-day CITB SMSTS training course and to have passed a four-day first aid course, as well as holding the relevant CSCS card. Project managers similarly must have passed the SMSTS and first aid courses, method statement and risk management training, and hold the relevant CSCS card. In addition, all site managers attend the following passport training courses: working at height; scaffold inspection; fire safety/marshall; mobile tower IPAF; scissor lift and boom; PASMA; and hot works. These standards ensure that our site teams are equipped to perform their roles and monitor all site activities effectively and safely. Many of our contractors deliver the same level of training provision which helps to minimise risks and maintain a safe place of work.
