Our approach to sustainable construction is driven by our commitment to innovation.
An example of this is our recent work with selected specialist suppliers to pioneer new modular construction techniques which deliver significant environmental benefits as well as reduced costs and delivery time. We have also collaborated on the design of an efficient low carbon site cabin which produces fewer emissions and uses less energy than conventional accommodation.
We always work with our clients to provide sustainable solutions and have increasing experience of delivering projects which demand high BREEAM ratings. Our design and build assignment for the engineering block at Merton College is a good demonstration of a low-energy, sustainable building with low overall life-cycle cost.
We are skilled in getting the best from the design teams with whom we work, ensuring that their proposals minimise environmental damage whilst remaining economically viable. We also have an excellent knowledge of the sources of sustainable and recycled materials and liaise closely with our supply chain to ensure that we are working with a common purpose to achieve greater sustainability.
