Longcross began working with Tesco in 2003 after we won a competitive tender for the Tesco Express roll-out. The first job, a Tesco Express in Chessington, was completed on time and on budget and led to Longcross delivering well over a hundred Express stores. We are now working on site constructing a new-build store in Ellesmere.
Our first Tesco Extra store saw the construction of a mezzanine level in the Bournemouth store, including installation of a travolater, steel framed mezzanine and piling, whilst the 24 hour store remained trading.
Projects range from £500 overnight schemes to six-month £6.9m schemes.
