Longcross began working with Sainsbury's in 1997 after being invited to challenge existing procurement conventions for them. The first assignment was a Sainsbury's Local Store in Victoria which was delivered for 75% of the model convenience store cost. Hundreds of other projects have followed ranging from £500 overnight exercises to £20m ten-month projects.
Longcross actively seeks new solutions and has championed innovations in volumetric pod construction, pioneering the first 'offsite' volumetric pod with a concrete floor suitable for use with terrazzo flooring systems.
