John Beament – Group Managing Director

John began his career in the late 1960s with Troughton and Young where he made an impact as the managing engineer on the prestigious Plaisterers’ Hall project at One London Wall. He went on to manage the London branch of HAT Group in the 1970s and from there founded Carmel Building Services and Carmel Electrical Services in the early 1980s. In 1997 he was responsible for introducing the Longcross turnkey solution to Sainsbury's and subsequently joined forces with Gary Earle and Mark English to form Longcross.

Gary Earle – Group Operations Director

Gary has a wide experience in both the contracting and consulting areas of the industry. Prior to forming Longcross, Gary was design director for Roberts and Partners, consulting engineers. Whilst at the company, he project managed the Bluewater shopping development in Kent. Gary became Group Operations Director of Longcross in 1997.

Mark English – Group Finance Director

Mark began his career in the industry working for a leading contractor on the National Westminster tower. He then spent fifteen years working for major quantity surveying practice, Henry Riley Group, and eventually became managing director of Henry Riley Services. Mark became Group Finance Director of Longcross in 1997.

Chris Miles – Operations Director

Chris joined Longcross in 1998 as a project manager and was promoted to his current position of Operations Director in 2000. He has since led the operational side of business, including the development of all systems and procedures. Prior to this, he worked for EC Harris Project Management, where he gained extensive experience as a project manager on a wide variety of high-profile commercial, public sector and industrial schemes. Chris has a background in design which has served him well in his role at Longcross.

Lee Wareham – Construction Director

Lee worked for Bowmer and Kirkland from 1998 to 2004, specialising in ‘live environment’ retail projects. By the year 2000 Lee was managing refurbishments and extensions for Sainsbury's, Tesco and Aldi. Lee was promoted to contracts manager in 2000 and became operations manager the following year. He joined Longcross in 2004, taking responsibility for all northern region construction activity. In August 2008, Lee was appointed as Construction Director of Longcross with a national remit.

Rob Fielding – Finance Director

Rob joined Bowmer and Kirkland in 1997 as a quantity surveyor on projects for a number of national retailers. In 2000 Rob was promoted to commercial manager and was then appointed a non-executive director in 2002. In 2004, Rob joined Longcross, taking financial and commercial responsibility for the northern region of the business. In August 2008, Rob was appointed as Finance Director of Longcross with a national remit.

Harjit Bhambra – Company Secretary

Harjit spent fifteen years with Hill Wooldridge and Co, chartered accountants, before joining Longcross in 2003 as company accountant, progressing to his present position of Company Secretary.
